Aguilas Cibañeas: Dominican Republic
As Assistant Manger to team manager Tony Peña, Denio coordinated team practice sessions and provides valuable assistance as a bench coach during games. He provides in-game tactical knowledge which ranged from calling for the hit-and-run, sacrifice bunt or stolen base as well as analyzing the opposing teams strengths and weaknesses. As Hitting Coach, Denio works with the team's players to improve their hitting techniques and form. He monitors players' swings during the game and over the course of the season, advising them when necessary between at-bats on adjustments to make. He also oversees their performance during practices, cage sessions, and pre-game batting practice.

Chicago White Sox: Dominican Republic
In the 1998 Denio was appointed by the Chicago White Socks as Director of Scouting which also included the duties of director of player development, academy administrator and manager of the DSL. During a period of 9 years, he was able to sign Pedro Lopez, Arnaldo Muñoz, Paulino Reynoso, Salvador Sánchez and Fabio Castro all valuable additions to the 40 man roster. Peter, Arnaldo and Fabio debut in the Major Leagues. As a coach, Denio worked at every level of the game. From Dominican summer league to hitting instructor for Miguel Tejada, Rafael Furcal, Willie Mo Pena, Alexi Gomez and Mayobanex Fernandez. Denio has the natural ability to teach all the fundamentals of the game; hitting, fielding, base running and other basic skills. As academy director, he demonstrated those skills coaching outfielders, pitchers and catchers. Denio enhanced has baseball and managing skills by working closely with baseball player/manager Tony Pena from 1998 to 2003. In 2002 Denio managed the Olympic team -The Americas Cup- held in Saltillo, Mexico. Other managing experiences included the Olympics -Intercontinental Cup- Havana, Cuba and Central American games, El Salvador. In 2003, Manager of the Dominican team at the Pan American Games held in the Dominican Republic. In 2004, Assistant Manager of the Lions, recruited by Nick Leyba.

International Playing Experience: 1981-1998
Denio has experience playing organized baseball in all parts of the world.`In 1994 he played in the Mexican League with the Red Devils Saltillo and in 1996 with the Taiwan Eagles team. In the following two years, 97-98, with the Tabasco Villa Hermosa, Mexico. In the Dominican Winter League he played with the Aguilas Cibaeñas from 1981 to 1991, Toros del Este 1992, 1994-95. He also played with the Stars in the East, then Aguilas Cibaeñas, until 97 as a player and hitting coach assistant under manager Tony Peña.

Major Leagues : 1981-1988

Signed by the Pittsburgh Pirates as a professional baseball player in 1981 and played until 1989. During that period he made his debut in the Major Leagues in 1984. After an operation on his right knee at the end of that year, he returned to Major Leagues for two years, 1986-88. At the end of 1988 he was traded to the Cleveland Indians where he finished the month of September in Major's. After major league training camp with Indians in the following year, he signed as a free agent with the New York Mets and in that same year with the Cincinnati Reds where he was invited to training camp. After several months of being in AAA Nashville, his contract was sold to the Tokyo Giants of Japan. He traveled to Japan in 1990 and 1991. In 1991, he went back to the USA and signed with the Boston Red Sox.
